The content of this bachelor thesis is description of economic aspects associated with the organization of open-air events. The theoretical part defines regional and local culture, organization, marketing and financing of musical events. The practical part is focused on the Ceremonial opening of spa season in Teplice as a musical festival. In this example, the various marketing methods, costs associated with organizing event and fundraising methods are described. The conclusion assesses social and cultural impact of the event on the city and its surroundings.
